Not What I Call Bonk Wave, Volume 3 (comp w/Fugue State track)

Been meaning to post this here, keep getting distracted…

I’m very excited to be part of the latest Not What I Call Bonk Wave compilation, now on Volume 3. This one will be coming in three parts, and the first part, “Disc A” was released on Oct. 25. An exclusive Fugue State track appears on this, as does a track from Lime Bar that uses audio from a track I recorded for the Playing With Visions of Chaos video (as well as pieces from Flock of Nazguls, AxWax, and attks th drknss).

The next two parts of NWICBW vol. 3 will be released in November (Disc B on Nov 8, and Disc C on Nov 22).

Relaxation Techniques II

Volume II of the Relaxation Techniques series is out!

This is essentially a “best of” collection from the “live-in-the-studio” Noise Therapy Sessions that have been released every 2 weeks on my video channels, but these are re-tweaked and re-recorded versions. This collection is from the first year and a half or so of the latest run.

First release from new project Redkap (split w/Bergstresser)

I wasn’t necessarily planning on releasing anything from this project just yet, but Nicholus from Bergstresser/Completely Gone Recordings made the offer, and of course I couldn’t resist. Redkap is what I’ve decided on as a name for my recent doomy industrial metal meanderings. I have a bunch of stuff recorded, but it’s been sitting on the back burner for various reasons.

I’m really excited to be doing the first Redkap release with CGR, and doubly so to be doing it on a split with Bergstressor!

I had also rather quietly posted a track called “Bloom” to Soundcloud a while back, might as well post that here too:

Support Bandcamp United

Workers at Bandcamp are organizing to form a union, and management have hired a union-busting law firm to attempt to disrupt their efforts. Bandcamp United has put out a call for support from users.

From the Bandcamp United website:

As the workers who build Bandcamp, we believe we should have input into its direction, and we believe in supporting and protecting workers who speak up. When we use our voices, we do so because we care about the future of Bandcamp, and because we wish to see our colleagues, artists, and broader communities succeed. It is important to us that Bandcamp’s artist-first mission continues with clarity and accountability, with all resources afforded to us distributed in the fairest and most transparent way possible. We feel a responsibility to support those who are most marginalized, to use our platform with integrity, and to provide reasonable protections and accommodations for those at-risk.

First release from new project BBBG

Over the course of 2022, I had some fun messing around with fractal music generators and other generative toys, and I’ve decided to release the results under a new project name. Some of these tracks were originally going to be part of a new Fugue State album, but I ended up getting really into it and soon had enough to fill an album. Since I could see myself doing more of this kind of thing in the future, I decided to call it something else as well, rather than having a bunch of oddball semi-themed releases under an existing project.

This album is available as a pay-what-you-want download from Bandcamp.
